Ukrainian organist Dariia Lytvishko has quickly emerged as one of the most sought-after performers of her generation, appearing in nearly 40 concerts annually across Europe and North America. Her recent engagements include Westminster Abbey, the Pantheon in Rome, and the Saint-Étienne Cathedral in Paris, and she will soon release her debut recording on the NAXOS label. A passionate advocate for her homeland, Lytvishko has given more than 40 benefit concerts for Ukraine, raising over €66,000 for relief efforts.

Pittsburgh organist Ian Michael Brown presents a reflective All Souls’ Day program featuring the music of J. S. Bach, Herbert Howells, Max Reger, and Alexandre Guilmant. A graduate of Duquesne University, where he studied with Dr. Ann Labounsky, Brown serves as Director of Music at Divine Mercy Parish. His program will explore music of consolation and remembrance, bringing depth and beauty to this solemn feast day.

Christmas at the Crèche

Music at St. Michael presents a festive celebration of the season featuring the parish’s choirs: the St. Cecilia Choir, St. Gregory the Great Schola Cantorum, St. Hildegard Choir, St. Dominic Savio Choir of Boys and Girls, and the St. Dunstan Handbell Choir, joined by chamber orchestra. The program includes Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols with baritone Lucky Rattan and Gustav Holst’s Christmas Day, alongside familiar carols and beloved Christmas choral works, all sung amid the radiant decorations of St. Bernard Church. Chaz Bowers conducts, with Aaron Sproul and Kevin Litzinger at the organ.

Frédéric Blanc

Titular Organist of Notre-Dame d’Auteuil, Paris

Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 7:30 P.M. at St. Bernard

Internationally renowned French organist Frédéric Blanc offers a program devoted to Maurice Duruflé and the French symphonic tradition. The recital will include unpublished works of Duruflé alongside music of Louis Vierne and Charles Tournemire, with Blanc also improvising on Gregorian chant melodies sung by the parish schola in Duruflé’s Quatre Motets sur des thèmes grégoriens. A laureate of the Grand Prix de Chartres and the Paris International Organ Competition, Blanc is celebrated worldwide for his mastery of French repertoire and the art of improvisation.
