About Mr. Fellows

Don Fellows, recently retired as Organist and Director of Music of Saint Paul Cathedral, Pittsburgh from 1999 to 2021, was named Director of Music Emeritus there this past year. Previously he was Chair of the Fine Arts Teaching Area, and Director of Liturgical Music at Wadhams Hall Seminary-College, and as Music Director of St. Mary’s Cathedral, both in Ogdensburg, New York. He served as Associate Organist and Choirmaster of Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago from 1991- 1993 and, from 1982-1991 as Director of Music of St. Joseph Cathedral in Buffalo, N.Y. Upon graduation from SUNY at Fredonia he served as Music Director of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Dunkirk from 1980 to 1982. He earned the Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1980 and 1987. He has performed organ recitals throughout the United States, as well as in Rome, Dublin, and Madrid. Don has several compositions that are published by G.I.A. Publications, Inc., MorningStar Publications, and Augsburg Press. Currently, Don serves as interim organist of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredonia, NY.
